After the success of the inaugural Marshall Theatre, we felt it appropriate to extend the capabilities and usefulness of our exclusive online video player. So it gives us great pleasure to announce that the latest version of the Marshall Theatre is now up and running. From now on this will be the place to get your Marshall fix, providing everything from artist interviews, back stage news from some of the biggest UK music festivals and product launches to name but a few.
One of the most exciting features however will be the ever growing library of official Marshall Product demo’s - starting with an extensive look at the mighty, all-encompassing MG Series. Whether you’re looking for the perfect Christmas gift to give a fledgling rock star or just fancy treating yourself to an amp loaded with great tone and features, these demonstrations will be sure to help you decide which amp is right for you.
Be sure to check back regularly as the Marshall Theatre will continue to be updated with new content from this point on.
When we were approached by Guitarfest to support their event and bring along a few friends, we not only turned up with Danny, Luke and Ben from Thunder, but we also brought along Megadeth legends, Shawn Drover and the one and only Dave Mustaine!
After a quick rehearsal of the chosen song 'Peace Sells' on the Thursday with Marko Mendoza and Soren Andeson, Friday, we headed to the NEC where Dave very graciously agreed to do a small signing session. The queue very quickly grew with all sorts of fans bringing posters, CD's, t-shirts and even guitars for the Megadeth main man to autograph.
With greats such as Thunder, Pete and Vinnie Moore from UFO and The Quireboys hanging around, the atmosphere was electric. Eventually it came time for Dave Mustaine and Shawn Drover to get up on stage and jam, which was a real treat for everyone present as Dave is renowned for not doing jams. But not only was he jamming with Shawn, Marko and Soren, he was also performing the track that his loyal fans had voted for - this really was a once in a lifetime spectacle. The fans absolutely loved it and before heading back off to the hotel, Dave couldn't leave without signing more autographs.
